Clean and Classical Reformer*1
Courtney Weis Participation fee:11,000yen / Credits:2CECsClean and Classical Reformer
Clean and classical is evidenced when you watch a body move quietly, seamlessly through the order with efficiency, control, grace. When we work with the transitions as a part of the exercises and not apart from the exercises the power of the work is witnessed, movement quality is enhanced, and all the Principles flow one into the other. As we move through our Pilates journey, we can get a little muddy, and we can start adding in or forgetting how to be crisp and clean and why it matters. Join Senior MI and Mentor Pamela Garcia to infuse your reformer practice and teaching with clarity as she revisits all of the advanced reformer order and transitions.

Soheyla DunglinsonBSc
Peak Pilates Master Instructor Level III
Soheyla’s Pilates journey started in 2001 when she was suffering from back pain post her pregnancy. She took Pilates lessons with multiple instructors from different training schools. It was during this period of experimentation that she discovered Classical Pilates and she never looked back. She started to see and feel real differences in her body; the structured style of classical training suited her as it enabled her to set herself manageable goals to improve her workouts. About a year into attending regular classes not only did her back pain disappear but Soheyla felt a strange sense of strength that she had never felt before. She became a believer of this discipline and signed up to become an instructor herself.
Coming from a totally different background, Soheyla never expected to find love and passion in an occupation where she would get paid for doing something she loved and enjoyed so much. Soheyla believes learning never ends and attends regular workshops and courses to improve her understanding and knowledge of the human anatomy and more specifically in relationship to movement. Soheyla completed her comprehensive certification with Peak Pilates in 2006 and in 2010, as she believed in the Peak education programme, she decided to go through the teacher training certification to became a Peak Master Instructor. Since then Soheyla has conducted courses and workshops in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
